CIMB Targets ASEAN’s Affluent with Regional Private Wealth Expansion

Kuala Lumpur, 20 July 2026 – CIMB Group is seeking to establish itself as the primary wealth-management partner for affluent individuals across ASEAN as rising incomes, urbanisation and intergenerational wealth transfers reshape demand for investment and advisory services in the region.

The banking group has introduced CIMB Private Wealth, a new proposition combining institutional-grade financial solutions with personalised advisory services for clients holding at least RM1 million in assets under management.
