Boston, 12 July 2026 – Suno’s rise to a US$2.5 billion valuation is becoming one of the clearest signs that artificial intelligence is moving from text, images and video into one of the most emotionally charged parts of the creative economy: music.

The AI music startup has built a platform that allows users to generate songs from simple text prompts, turning short descriptions into vocals, melodies and full musical arrangements within minutes. What once seemed like a novelty is now becoming a mass-market behaviour, with more than 100 million people having used the platform and more than 7 million songs reportedly being created on the app each day.
