Hong Kong, 20 July 2026 – Hong Kong’s initial public offering market is heading towards its strongest annual performance in six years as mainland Chinese companies accelerate listing plans and international investors return to one of Asia’s leading capital-raising centres.
The city’s stock exchange hosted approximately 85 IPOs during the first half of 2026, raising about HK$209.9 billion. Fundraising proceeds increased by 92% from the corresponding period a year earlier, while the number of new listings more than doubled.
