Hangzhou, 12 July 2026 – China’s BrainCo is betting that the future of brain-computer interface technology may not require surgical implants, positioning wearable neurotechnology as a more scalable path into consumer, medical and workplace applications.
The company’s strategy stands in contrast to implant-based approaches associated with more invasive brain-computer interface systems. Instead of drilling into the skull or placing chips inside the brain, BrainCo is focusing on devices that can read brain signals externally through wearable sensors.
