Kuala Lumpur, 20 July 2026 – Malaysia’s anti-corruption authorities will investigate the Retirement Fund Incorporated’s RM163.4 million investment in Indonesian aquaculture technology company eFishery, although preliminary information has not indicated wrongdoing by the public pension fund.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission should conduct a comprehensive examination if there were any elements of misconduct, while KWAP and the Finance Ministry had been instructed to provide full cooperation.
