Anwar Fields Student Questions on AI, Leadership and Education at AIMST University

Sungai Petani, 7 June 2026 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim engaged students at AIMST University in a wide-ranging dialogue on artificial intelligence, leadership and the future of education, as Malaysia continues to position human capital development at the centre of its national transformation agenda.

The session offered students an opportunity to raise questions directly with the Prime Minister on issues shaping their generation, from the rise of AI to the role of young Malaysians in public leadership and the importance of equitable access to higher education. The discussion reflected growing national attention on how Malaysia should prepare students not only for technological disruption, but also for ethical decision-making, civic responsibility and economic competitiveness.
