CPO Prices Seen Range-Bound at RM4,400–RM4,650 as Energy Markets Support Outlook

Kuala Lumpur, 22 July 2026 – Crude palm oil prices are expected to trade within a range of RM4,400 to RM4,650 per tonne in August as stronger energy markets and biodiesel demand provide support, while subdued consumption and elevated vegetable oil inventories limit further upside.

Malaysia’s palm oil production rose 8% month-on-month to 1.63 million tonnes in June 2026, reflecting the seasonal production upcycle that typically begins in March. Output nevertheless remained 3% below the level recorded in June 2025, marking the fourth consecutive month of year-on-year contraction.
