BPMB Selects 22 Projects Seeking RM1.73 Billion for Climate Finance Programme

Kuala Lumpur, 30 July 2026 – Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad Group has launched the second cohort of its Climate Finance Innovation Lab, selecting 22 projects with a combined investment requirement of approximately US$423 million, equivalent to RM1.73 billion.

The industry-led platform, administered by BPMB under the Joint Committee on Climate Change, is intended to strengthen the pipeline of investment-ready climate and nature-positive projects in Malaysia. The committee is jointly chaired by Bank Negara Malaysia and the Securities Commission Malaysia.
