Zhongji Innolight Slips as US$6.8 Billion Hong Kong Debut Tests AI Valuations

Hong Kong, 30 July 2026 – Zhongji Innolight shares slipped in their Hong Kong trading debut after the Chinese optical-module supplier raised about US$6.8 billion, showing that even one of the year’s largest Asian listings is not immune to a broader reassessment of artificial-intelligence valuations.

The company priced the offering at HK$980 per H share, raising approximately HK$53.4 billion. Its arrival gives international investors access to a major supplier of high-speed optical modules used to move data within cloud and AI computing systems. The listing also broadens a shareholder base already familiar with the company through its Shenzhen-traded shares.
