Singapore Climate Plan Consultation Brings Adaptation Risk Into Investment Focus

Singapore, 30 July 2026 – Singapore has invited public feedback for its inaugural National Adaptation Plan, bringing citizens, businesses and civil-society groups into a strategy intended to protect the city-state from rising temperatures, flooding, sea-level rise and more extreme weather.

The consultation arrives during Singapore’s Year of Climate Adaptation and will inform a long-term plan expected to be published in 2027. The government has described the document as a living strategy, reflecting the reality that physical risks, scientific projections and the cost of protective infrastructure will continue to change.
