Kuala Lumpur, 30 July 2026 – Assets linked to the Maju Junction commercial complex are being offered at auction with a combined reserve price of RM353.95 million, creating a significant test of investor appetite for large retail and mixed-use property in central Kuala Lumpur. The sale arrives as buyers become increasingly selective about occupancy, redevelopment potential and financing costs.
Maju Junction occupies a prominent position near the intersection of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Sultan Ismail, with access to public transport and established retail districts. Location alone, however, no longer guarantees institutional demand. Investors must assess tenant quality, building condition, operating expenses, traffic patterns and the capital needed to reposition an older commercial asset.
