Shanghai, 30 July 2026 – CXMT Corporation has become mainland China’s most valuable listed company following a spectacular Shanghai debut, but its extraordinary market valuation stands in sharp contrast to a global memory-chip position that remains well behind the industry’s established leaders.

Shares of the Chinese dynamic random-access memory manufacturer closed at 49 yuan on their first trading day, rising 465.8% from the initial public offering price of 8.66 yuan.
