SK Hynix Leveraged ETF Overtakes Hong Kong Tracker Fund as AI Chip Bets Surge

Hong Kong, 23 June 2026 – A leveraged exchange-traded product tied to SK Hynix has overtaken the Tracker Fund of Hong Kong by assets, marking a major shift in the city’s ETF market as investors intensify bets on artificial intelligence, semiconductors and high-bandwidth memory demand.

The CSOP SK Hynix Daily 2x Leveraged Product has grown to more than HK$130 billion in assets, equivalent to roughly US$17 billion, making it one of Hong Kong’s largest exchange-traded products. Its rapid rise reflects strong investor appetite for leveraged exposure to SK Hynix, one of the key global beneficiaries of the AI hardware cycle.
