Kuala Lumpur, 27 July 2026 – Local retail investors returned to net buying on Bursa Malaysia last week, recording RM223.1 million in inflows as foreign institutions reversed two consecutive weeks of purchases and reduced their exposure to Malaysian equities.
The change in positioning followed a week of net selling by retail participants and indicates renewed domestic interest despite cautious trading conditions and continued uncertainty across global financial markets.
