Kuala Lumpur, 26 July 2026 – Pavilion Real Estate Investment Trust (Pavilion REIT) is expected to secure stronger rental income in the second half of 2026 as a major redevelopment of retail space at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur enters its final phase, paving the way for a refreshed tenant mix and higher-yielding leases.
The redevelopment follows the departure of department store operator Parkson from approximately 68,000 square feet of retail space on Level 3 of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The vacated area is being transformed into 37 new retail lots that will accommodate a broader mix of fashion and food-and-beverage brands, with reopening targeted for early November.
