Bahrain F1 Race at Sepang Set to Boost Malaysia’s Tourism and Investment Profile

Sepang, 27 July 2026 – Malaysia expects significant tourism, investment and branding benefits when the Bahrain Gulf Air Grand Prix is staged at the Sepang International Circuit from 2 to 4 October 2026, returning Formula One competition to the country under an international hosting arrangement.

The race is scheduled between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix, subject to the completion of a final agreement and the remaining approvals from global motorsport authorities.
