Kuala Lumpur, 23 July 2026 – Hong Kong and Malaysia are strengthening their capital market partnership as regulators move to expand cross-border investment, fundraising and supervisory cooperation between two of Asia’s most important financial gateways.
Speaking at the signing ceremony of a new Memorandum of Understanding between the Securities Commission Malaysia and the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, Dr Kelvin Wong said the agreement marked another milestone in a relationship spanning more than three decades.
