MAHB Optimistic on 2026 Outlook as Visit Malaysia Campaign and Airline Growth Support Aviation Recovery

Kuala Lumpur, 15 May 2026 – Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd remains optimistic about its outlook for 2026 despite geopolitical uncertainty in West Asia, as the airport operator works with airlines, regulators and tourism agencies to strengthen passenger traffic, improve connectivity and support the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.

MAHB managing director Datuk Mohd Izani Ghani said stronger cooperation across the aviation and tourism ecosystem will be crucial to sustaining industry resilience. He said airport operators, airlines, regulators and tourism-related agencies must move in the same direction to ensure smoother travel experiences, stable airline operations and stronger international connectivity.
