Sungai Petani, 14 May 2026 – EG Industries Berhad has secured confirmed purchase orders worth US$241.6 million, or approximately RM950 million, for 800G optical modules and wireless broadband-related products, strengthening the group’s position in high-value electronics manufacturing and next-generation connectivity solutions.
The orders were secured by EG Industries’ wholly owned subsidiary, SMT Technologies Sdn Bhd, from an existing key customer. The latest contract win enhances the group’s earnings visibility and reinforces its role as a trusted manufacturing partner in advanced technology segments.
