Shanghai, 15 May 2026 – Malaysia has concluded a four-day programme of strategic palm oil industry engagements in China, reinforcing its commitment to deepen cooperation with Chinese companies across downstream processing, industrial applications, sustainability, innovation and long-term commercial partnerships.
The programme was led by Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad and coordinated by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council. It included MPOF China 2026, MPOC’s flagship industry engagement platform, as well as strategic meetings with major industry players including COFCO Corporation, Yihai Kerry Arawana Food Group, also known as Wilmar China, and Taiko Palm-Oleo (Zhangjiagang) Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad.
