Kuala Lumpur, 4 June 2026 – Bursa Malaysia extended its positive momentum at midday as investors returned to selected heavyweight and blue-chip counters, supported by improved market sentiment and bargain-hunting activity after recent weakness.
The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI advanced during the morning session, moving back toward the 1,688-point level as buying interest re-emerged in key index-linked counters. The stronger performance reflected a more constructive tone after the local market had come under pressure in the previous session.
