Vincent Tan Cuts Berjaya Corp Stake as Asset Sale Momentum Continues

Kuala Lumpur, 4 June 2026 – Berjaya Corporation Bhd founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun has reduced his stake in the diversified conglomerate, extending a series of asset and share disposals that signal a continued reshaping of his listed-company exposure.

Tan sold approximately RM115 million worth of Berjaya Corp shares through direct business transactions, reducing his total holding in the company to about 15.08%, or 896.33 million shares. Following the transactions, his direct stake stood at 4.11%, while his deemed interest was pared to 10.96%.
