Perdana Petroleum Expands Fleet With Two Newbuild 60-Tonne AHTS Vessels

Kuala Lumpur, 3 June 2026 – Perdana Petroleum Berhad is expanding and modernising its offshore support vessel fleet after entering into shipbuilding contracts for two new Anchor Handling Tug and Supply vessels, marking a significant step in the group’s fleet renewal programme.

The offshore marine support services provider said it has signed shipbuilding contracts with Aulong Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. in China for the construction of two 60-tonne bollard pull AHTS vessels. The total contract value is approximately US$34 million.
