Apple Commits US$30 Billion To Broadcom For US-Made Chips

Cupertino, 10 July 2026 – Apple has committed more than US$30 billion to buy US-made chips from Broadcom over the next five years, strengthening its domestic semiconductor supply chain as technology companies respond to shifting trade policy, tariff risks and national manufacturing priorities.

The new multiyear agreement will support the production of more than 15 billion chips in the United States and includes an expansion of Broadcom’s facility in Fort Collins, Colorado.
