MACC And MCMC Strengthen Cooperation To Tackle Harmful Online Content

Kuala Lumpur, 8 July 2026 – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission are strengthening cooperation to address harmful online content, as enforcement agencies face growing pressure to respond faster to scams, false information and digital abuse.

The closer collaboration reflects Malaysia’s wider push to improve online safety at a time when harmful digital content has become more frequent, more organised and more difficult to monitor manually.
