Kuala Lumpur, 9 July 2026 – New Pantai Expressway Sdn Bhd has issued a landmark Sustainability-Linked Sukuk for the New Pantai Highway Extension project, setting a new benchmark for sustainable infrastructure financing and Islamic capital markets.
NPE, a wholly owned subsidiary of IJM Corporation Berhad, successfully issued the sukuk under its unrated Islamic Medium Term Notes Programme of up to RM1.42 billion in nominal value. The initial issuance size is RM54 million.
