Kuala Lumpur, 13 May 2026 – CelcomDigi Bhd recorded a sharp rise in first-quarter earnings despite broadly flat revenue, as the country’s largest mobile network operator benefited from merger synergies, cost discipline and lower depreciation following the continued progress of its network integration programme.
For the first quarter ended 31 March 2026, CelcomDigi’s net profit rose 88.5% to RM418 million, compared with RM221.8 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Revenue was largely unchanged at about RM3.2 billion, reflecting a stable but competitive telecommunications market.
