Singapore, 30 June 2026 – Accenture has appointed former Standard Chartered artificial intelligence executive Dr David R. Hardoon to lead its data and AI business in Southeast Asia, strengthening the consulting group’s regional push as companies accelerate enterprise adoption of generative AI, automation and data-driven transformation.
The appointment places Hardoon at the centre of one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing technology themes. Across the region, banks, insurers, manufacturers, retailers, telcos and public-sector organisations are moving from AI experimentation towards enterprise-scale deployment, creating rising demand for strategy, governance, data architecture and implementation support.
