Jakarta, 30 June 2026 – Indonesia Stock Exchange’s newly appointed chief executive officer Jeffrey Hendrik is setting an ambitious target to turn the Jakarta bourse into one of the world’s top 10 exchanges by 2030, as the market works to rebuild investor confidence after a major MSCI classification scare.

Shareholders of the Indonesia Stock Exchange approved Hendrik’s appointment for the 2026-to-2030 term, formalising a leadership change at a critical moment for Southeast Asia’s largest economy.
