First AWS–Exabytes Cohort Graduates as Malaysia Pushes to Close Cloud and AI Talent Gap

Kuala Lumpur, 29 June 2026 – Amazon Web Services, Exabytes and Forward College have celebrated the graduation of the first cohort under the AWS training programme delivered through the Exabytes Centre of Cloud Excellence, marking an early milestone in a RM4.3 million initiative to strengthen Malaysia’s cloud and artificial intelligence talent pipeline.

A total of 108 learners completed the first cohort, with more than 15% already securing interviews or employment opportunities before graduation. The ceremony was held at AWS-KUL15 Malaysia and brought together programme partners, hiring partners and graduates as Malaysia continues to build workforce capacity for higher-value digital roles.
