KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with the upcoming National Day celebrations, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) has confirmed that all Rapid KL rail lines will run 24-hour services from the morning of 30 August until the night of 31 August 2025.
The round-the-clock operations will also extend to the Sunway Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line, selected bus routes, and Rapid On-Demand (ROD) zones across the Klang Valley and Putrajaya to ease travel for the public attending Merdeka events.
“As the country’s largest public transport operator, we are proud to be part of the heartbeat of the people in heightening the spirit of National Month. This initiative is not merely about providing mobility services but also reflects Prasarana’s continued commitment to strengthen public transport as a driver of unity and as a symbol of love for the nation,” said Amir Hamdan, Prasarana group president and chief executive officer, during a press conference at Pasar Seni LRT station.
