Port Dickson, 27 July 2026 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on Village Development and Security Committee leaders in Negeri Sembilan to uphold integrity, strengthen public communication and ensure government resources produce tangible benefits for local communities.
Speaking at a gathering with committee leaders in Lukut, Anwar said grassroots representatives occupy an important position between the government and the public. Their responsibilities extend beyond local administration to explaining government programmes accurately, identifying community needs and maintaining public confidence in development initiatives.
