LinkedIn Faces Austrian Privacy Complaint Over User Data Access and Premium Feature

Vienna, 5 May 2026 – LinkedIn is facing a privacy complaint in Austria after European digital rights group noyb accused the professional networking platform of refusing to provide a user with full access to profile-visitor data while offering similar information through its paid Premium service.

The complaint was filed with Austria’s data protection authority on behalf of a LinkedIn user who had requested access to personal data held by the platform. The user is seeking a full response to the access request, while noyb is also asking the regulator to consider a fine against the Microsoft-owned company.
