Pharmaniaga Secures RM281.7 Million Insulin Contract to Strengthen Malaysia’s Medicine Security

Shah Alam, 28 May 2026 – Pharmaniaga Berhad has secured a RM281.7 million contract from the Ministry of Health to supply human insulin to public healthcare institutions nationwide, reinforcing the Group’s role in Malaysia’s pharmaceutical supply chain and national medicine security.

The three-year contract was awarded to Pharmaniaga’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pharmaniaga LifeScience Sdn. Bhd., and covers the supply of human insulin to healthcare facilities across the country. The award represents approximately 70% of the Ministry of Health’s total insulin tender volume, highlighting Pharmaniaga’s manufacturing scale, operational readiness and ability to support large-volume national healthcare requirements.
