Kuala Lumpur, 28 May 2026 – Amazon Web Services and Elitery have expanded the CendekiAwan Malaysia Program with Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation, marking a deeper phase in Malaysia’s effort to prepare students for the practical demands of artificial intelligence application development.
The latest chapter saw 2,500 APU students from both technology and non-technology disciplines complete a three-month generative AI development programme. The initiative builds on the first phase of CendekiAwan Malaysia, which has now upskilled more than 15,500 Malaysian students since 2025.
