Bursa Malaysia Becomes First Malaysian PLC To Achieve FTSE4Good’s Highest ESG Score

Kuala Lumpur, 3 July 2026 – Bursa Malaysia Berhad has become the first Malaysian public listed company to achieve the highest score of 5.0 under the FTSE4Good ESG assessment framework and index methodology, reinforcing its position as a sustainability leader in the domestic capital market.

The achievement places Bursa Malaysia among a select group of companies in the FTSE4Good universe, which assesses more than 12,000 companies globally using a transparent and rules-based methodology.
