Kuala Lumpur, 1 May 2026 – Bursa Malaysia Berhad has appointed Azizan Abdul Aziz as Director of its Islamic Capital Market, effective 1 May 2026, as the exchange strengthens its focus on one of the country’s most important capital market growth segments.
Azizan will take on the new role in addition to his current position as Chief Financial Officer of Bursa Malaysia. The appointment reflects the exchange’s intention to deepen strategic oversight of its Islamic capital market priorities while maintaining continuity in financial leadership.
