Selangor, 16 June 2026 – Orkim Berhad has successfully launched its newbuild vessel, Orkim Jade, marking another step in the Malaysian marine transportation group’s fleet rejuvenation and expansion strategy.
The 14,500 deadweight tonne vessel was launched at the Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd shipyard in Fuzhou, China, and remains on track for delivery according to schedule. The launch strengthens Orkim’s ongoing effort to modernise its fleet, improve operating efficiency and support long-term sustainable growth.
