Three Brothers Charged With Unlicensed Securities Dealing in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 15 July 2026 – Three brothers have claimed trial in separate Kuala Lumpur Sessions Courts to charges involving the alleged operation of a securities dealing business without a Capital Markets Services Licence.

Anuar Hassan, Mohd Amin Hassan and Amir Hassan were charged under Section 58(1) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007. Several of the charges were also brought together with Section 34 of the Penal Code, which concerns acts allegedly carried out by several persons in furtherance of a common intention.
