Asian Stock Exchanges Call for Greater Regional Connectivity to Capture Global Capital

Bangkok, 17 July 2026 – Leading Asian stock exchange executives have called for deeper regional market connectivity as international investors direct more capital towards Asia and seek easier access to the region’s diverse economies.

Senior representatives from SGX Group, the Stock Exchange of Thailand and Japan Exchange Group said stronger cross-border cooperation could improve market liquidity, broaden investment opportunities and help Asian economies retain a larger share of global capital flows.
