Securities Commission Malaysia Announces New Shariah Advisory Council Line-Up

Kuala Lumpur, 1 July 2026 – The Securities Commission Malaysia has announced the new line-up of its Shariah Advisory Council for a three-year term from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029, reinforcing the council’s role in guiding the country’s Islamic capital market.

The new SAC comprises seven members with deep expertise across Shariah, Islamic finance, capital markets, law, academia and market practice.
