Zurich, 30 June 2026 – Nearly one million people worldwide became US-dollar millionaires in 2025, as global personal wealth expanded at its fastest pace in years, according to the latest UBS Global Wealth Report.

The increase reflects a strong year for financial markets, which lifted asset values and helped push more individuals into the millionaire bracket. Rising equity markets, stronger investment portfolios and gains in financial assets contributed to the broad improvement in global wealth.
