Advisers & What Lies Ahead

TA Securities Holdings Bhd serves as the principal advisor, sponsor, underwriter, and placement agent for the IPO, while Eco Asia Capital Advisory Sdn Bhd is acting as the financial advisor.

Given the robust demand, the listing is expected to generate strong market interest. Investors will be watching JS Solar’s performance post-listing, especially as clean energy companies are being scrutinized both for growth potential and sustainability practices.

Implications

  • The high oversubscription rates—both among the Bumiputera and non-Bumiputera tranches—demonstrate broad institutional and retail interest in renewable energy plays.
  • The successful subscription may give the company a favorable opening, but it also sets high expectations for performance.
  • This strong demand may encourage more companies in renewable tech to consider IPOs, particularly as ESG and green energy narratives gain traction in Malaysia and the region.
