Capital A Receives Bursa Approval to Exit PN17 Status After Major Restructuring

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 May 2026 – Capital A Berhad has received approval from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad to exit Practice Note 17 status, marking a major turning point for the group after years of restructuring following the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the aviation industry.

The removal of Capital A’s PN17 classification will take effect on 20 May 2026, ending a long regularisation process that involved balance sheet repair, the disposal of its aviation business and a major capital reduction exercise aimed at restoring the group’s financial position.
