Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 11 August 2026 – Malaysia’s capital-market Securities Commission has added Omnitrade to its Investor Alert List, warning the public that the list identifies unauthorised websites, investment products, companies and individuals that may pose risks to investors.
The latest update underscores the continuing need for investors to verify the legal status of any platform before transferring money or personal information. The regulator said its alert list is not exhaustive and should be treated as a guide rather than a complete register of every potentially unauthorised operator. That distinction matters because new websites, social-media accounts and payment channels can appear faster than formal warnings are issued.
