At 8am, air-pollution readings in Penang ranged from about 159 to 165, with Sungai Petani at 158. Parts of the Klang Valley reached as high as 182, while east-coast stations recorded roughly 152 to 164. Sabah and Sarawak were generally between 43 and 80.
