Kuala Lumpur, 17 September 2026 – Affin Bank Berhad and the International Finance Corporation have announced a US$400 million long-term financing package aimed at expanding access to capital for Malaysian micro, small and medium enterprises, with women-owned businesses and underserved regions among the priorities.
The partnership places financing access at the centre of business development. Under the agreed framework, AFFIN will channel funding to eligible MSMEs to support productive investment, strengthen competitiveness and broaden economic participation where financing gaps continue to constrain growth.
