George Town, Malaysia, 5 November 2026 – Hospital Seberang Jaya has expanded specialist cardiac care with an invasive cardiology laboratory supporting coronary angiogram and angioplasty procedures. The hospital’s cardiology unit has four coronary care beds and 15 coronary rehabilitation ward beds, according to the account of the new services.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said the services were expected to shorten waits and reduce travel for treatment.
