Kuala Lumpur, 6 November 2026 – Unisem (M) Berhad reported third-quarter net profit of RM30.73 million, up from RM19.38 million a year earlier, as higher sales volumes lifted revenue across its main operating units. Revenue rose 23.3% to RM607.66 million in the three months ended 30 September 2026. The Malaysian semiconductor assembly and testing company declared an interim dividend of one sen per share.

For Asian investors following the chip supply chain, the results show that more orders are reaching a regional supplier at the assembly and testing stage. They also show why one quarter is not enough to call a full earnings recovery: Unisem earned less in the first nine months of 2026 than in the same period last year, despite bringing in more revenue. Management expects firmer customer demand and better use of existing capacity to support the rest of the year, but that outlook is not a reported result.
