Bangkok, 17 September 2026 – Petronas LNG Ltd is positioning its diversified supply portfolio to meet growing Asian demand, with a new Sabah facility expected to add further volumes next year. Chief executive Ezran Mahadzir presented the strategy at Gastech 2026, linking the company’s Malaysian operations and Canadian supplies to the flexibility required by regional buyers.

Ezran said the Sabah plant was expected to be commissioned around the middle of next year, bringing a further two million tonnes into the portfolio. That is an anticipated addition, not production already delivered. Bintulu in Sarawak and supplies from Canada form part of the existing geographic diversification described in the interview.
